About me

I'm Jason Gulley, a photographer based in middle Georgia. I shoot aviation, wildlife, portraits, and the outdoors with a storytelling eye. The goal is a image that stays with you after you look away.
I've been making pictures for eleven years. I studied photography for three years, learning cameras, light, composition, and editing. Some of my early work made it to art galleries and stores when I was Sixteen, and at seventeen I was invited to do a multi week class and photo shoot with pro photographers from National Geographic. I never turned it into a business then. I didn't think I was ready. I am now.
The work I care about the most is aviation, wildlife, and the natural world. I also take on portraits, families, and sessions when the light and scene is right.
Whether its a jet against a hard sky, a quiet moment outside, or a family on the beach, the aim is the same: photographs with a story still inside them.
